Evaluation of programs and services on behalf of Camp Quality
Client: Camp Quality
Project duration: 7 months
ZEST Health Strategies was engaged to complete a comprehensive review of Camp Quality’s programs and services to inform the development of the organisation’s next three-year Strategic Plan and to develop an Evaluation Plan and Framework.
This evaluation used a mixed-methods approach and included:
- Rapid evidence review, environmental scan and needs gap analysis for children and families affected by cancer;
- Design and distribution of an online survey to families registered with Camp Quality Services to determine their perception, experience and value of current programs and services and future needs, returning 384 responses;
- Consultations through interviews with over 25 key stakeholders in the sector, including other NGOs and service providers;
- Conducting testing and validation workshops at key stages during the evaluation with the Camp Quality Committee.
Findings and recommendations were included in a report for Camp Quality and the Evaluation Plan and Framework will guide the future monitoring and evaluation of its programs and services.
